Every year after the new year celebration is over, I begin to think about my garden. I found an amazing grow guide online that spells everything out, from when to start seeds indoors to planting dates. For January -- it is my planning time. I look at what veggies I want to plant, where to plant them, and when to start them. I also start gathering supplies so that when the big day comes I will have everything I need. This year I also want to plant more flowers, so much of January is going to be spent researching what type of flower (I particularly love perennials) will thrive in my clay soil. I am married to a soil expert, so I let him take care of the dirty work! Happy garden planning, everyone!
